Meet Dr. Brittany,
Dr. Brittany Woodard is a native of Atlanta, Ga.
She received her Bachelors of Science from Tennessee State
University, where she studied both Communications and Psychology.
As an undergraduate, she became a Reiki Master.
She is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture
in Phoenix, Arizona where she obtained a Masters in Oriental Medicine
which includes Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine.
She is also a certified Holistic Nutritionist.
Dr. Brittany strongly believes the job of a physician
is to give the body the materials it needs to heal itself. By incorporating acupuncture with eastern herbal medicine and both eastern and
western nutrition Dr. Brittany creates a complete and unique
healing system for her patients. Her specialties are
pain management, digestive health, rheumatoid arthritis
as well as anxiety and depression.
Meet Zeena Regis
Periods of transition, loss, and grief challenge us in difficult and
unexpected ways. Spiritual care sessions are designed to offer a
supportive and therapeutic space to tell your story, honor your
feelings and create an action plan for the next chapter of your life.
Zeena Regis has worked in hospice and palliative care as a chaplain
and bereavement coordinator since 2012. Her training includes a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Agnes Scott College
and Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, where she
was honored with the HJ Riddle Memorial Award for excellence in
pastoral care. She has also completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral
Education through the Georgia Care and Counseling Center and also
the Pediatric Chaplaincy Institute at the Children’s National Medical
System in Washington D.C. She lives in Decatur with her spouse,
nephew, and two spoiled pups.
Meet Dr. Marilyn Johnson, ND
Naturopathic Health Consultant
Dr. Marilyn Johnson, BS, MA, ND founder of the 49 Days 2 Fabulous Forum, is a Naturopath, Yoga Instructor, Certified Aromatherapist, Journal Writing instructor, Self-Esteem Trainer, Natural Health Practitioner and International Disease Prevention Researcher. While a Communications Specialist for the Center for Minority Health at The University of Pittsburgh, she worked as a project manager for a longitudinal study to research Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) and disease prevention in Nigeria, West, Africa. That experience led to Health Educator and Research Evaluator posts in Alternative, Behavioral, and Complementary Disease Prevention Studies at Morehouse School of Medicine, in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked with a team of Psychologists and Physiologists to develop the Holistic Health-oriented Phenomenal Woman Weight Loss Program. Her inspiring story to transform trauma into triumph, When Dreams Won’t Die, is included in “Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work as well as in Chicken Soup for the Soul, 10th Anniversary Edition.
